REWARDS Overview The purpose of the reward system is to encourage character activity. The system is relatively simple: activity accomplished beyond the basic activity check requirements can be used to collect points, which then in turn can be used to collect in game rewards. Using the reward system is not mandatory. This is just meant to be a fun addition to reward active players in the game. Points are cumulative and will roll over every month. They do not expire. To claim points for a log thread, it must have at least four replies from your character claiming the points not including the top comment. To claim points for a network thread, it must have at least six replies from your character not including the top comment. This is to avoid abuse of the reward system and to discourage players from tagging into open threads simply to drop them so they can claim the points. The mods will be looking at every thread to make sure that this is not the case. If we notice a pattern like this, we will speak to the players in question. Points will be tracked on the Taken Characters page, and will be added at the end of every activity check. Points can be collected for each separate character, and cannot be traded, transferred or gifted. You cannot give one character points for the activity of another character you play. However, if you have two characters in a single thread you can collect points for each character in that one thread. Players are responsible for submitting their own activity for points. The submission period is the same as the activity check window. Do not make more than one submission per activity cycle. If we have multiple submissions within one cycle, there is a higher chance of things being submitted twice or miscounted. You cannot claim the same thread twice. You cannot claim points for a thread that is being used for activity check. If there are multiple threads from the same top comment, you can claim points for all threads your characters are involved in from that top comment other than the one you use for activity check. For example, if Character 1 posts a top comment that contains threads withCharacters 2 , 3 and 4, they can use the Character 1/Character 2 thread for activity check and use the Character 1/Characer 3 thread and Character 1/Character 4 thread to claim points. | ||
